During the course of an image processing course this past school year I worked on a project to create a user interface and image processing program using MatLab. I worked with a group to create the filters and different effects for the images. I focused on the GUI portion and learned how to create a functional and intuitive user interface. The project allowed me to further push my ability in coding, specifically, how to pick up new skills I am unfamiliar with. It also led me to work better in a team and learn to work on a group project that required coding whereas most of my prior experience had been individual work.
